A Miniaturized Optical Communication Module: Design, Development, and Testing

In the field of modern communication, optical communication occupies a crucial position. And the optical communication module is a key component to achieve high-speed and large-capacity optical communication. This paper aims to design and manufacture a miniaturized optical communication module. This module integrates functions such as light source, optical signal detection, signal processing, and transmission. In the design stage, the main devices of each functional module are selected according to the working principle of the device, and then the circuit design is carried out based on the selected devices and functions and the corresponding design principles. After the overall design plan is completed, the optical communication module is successfully developed, and the engineering tests and data analysis of its main functions are carried out. The test results show that this optical communication module has high reliability and practicability, and the corresponding design scheme is feasible. This miniaturized optical communication module has certain application value and development prospects.
