One-way power microgrid operation scheme based on two-stage stochastic optimization

Microgrid has become a key component of the power system in recent years; however, the intermittency and instability of wind and photovoltaic power generation require grid scheduling to consider multifactor optimization. The purpose of this study is to realize the collaborative planning and configuration of power generation and energy storage devices for microgrids, taking into account the day-ahead economic dispatch factors in the zone. A deterministic planning model is first developed to optimize the independent operation configuration scheme for three zones with the objective of minimizing the cost of supplying electricity, and preliminary results are obtained. Then considering the load growth and wind-solar configuration costs of the zones, a two-stage stochastic optimization model minimizing the comprehensive costs is established. With the introduction of the idea of distribution robust optimization, the model can adapt to a variety of uncertainties, and based on the analysis of multiple discrete scenarios, the optimal coordinated configuration of wind power and energy storage operating independently in each zone is derived by using the C&CG algorithm and the KKT condition for solving. After planning, the configuration and operation of microgrids can synthesize various factors into consideration, and the optimal solution has strong robustness.
