Application of ChatGPT-Integrated NPCs to Enhance Virtual Reality Brainstorming

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has brought new possibilities for virtual reality (VR) applications. This study explores how to integrate ChatGPT with AI NPCs in VR to enhance virtual reality brainstorming (VB). Through voice interaction, users can converse with AI NPCs, obtain information, and inspire creativity. Traditional brainstorming is limited by existing knowledge; introducing ChatGPT AI NPCs as assistants can provide novel perspectives and suggestions, making discussions more effective, offering appropriate feedback, and guiding conversations. The collaborative functions of AI NPCs further enhance the process, assisting in organizing thoughts and providing information, thereby deepening discussions. This study proposes a system framework that integrates ChatGPT's AI collaboration functions into a VR platform, allowing users to interact with AI NPCs through voice commands and receive real-time feedback, thus enhancing virtual reality brainstorming (VB) effectiveness.
