Identification of Hazardous Gases in an Improvised Explosive Device with Android Technology: A Prototype

The harmful or dangerous gas detector can measure the quantities of particular gases linked to improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in real-time, and it can show the information on the device itself as well as through an Android application that runs online. Because the present generation of IED detectors is so expensive, it is rare to find devices of this kind in public locations that are capable of detecting IEDs in a variety of air conditions. The goal of this initiative is to improve public safety by increasing the availability of IED detection. The carbon monoxide, ethanol, toluene, methane, isobutylene, and ammonia are the six gases that the prototype can identify. It picks up on the typical ambient air quality in its surroundings and recognizes deviations in data that point to the presence of these dangerous chemicals. The primary goal of this research is to identify and categorize hazardous gases, with output being shown on an LCD and an Android app that shows the name and concentration of the gas.
