Comparison Newton Method with Bisection Method for Solving Nonlinear Equations

Many authors suggested methods to solve nonlinear equations. Each of these methods has its advantages and disadvantages. In this work, we chose some methods with low cost and high accuracy such as Newton Raphson method (NRM) and bisection method (BM) to solve nonlinear equations, then we compare the performance of these two methods by employing them in solving several examples and comparing the solutions for each of them in terms of the number of steps and the speed of convergence. The results confirm the strength and durability of Newton method which is easier to use and more faster than bisection method.
