Conceptual Design to the Power System of Lunar Research Station

Electricity plays a pivotal role in operating diverse scientific research, thermal control, and life support systems on the lunar surface. Recognizing the crucial role of electricity in the Lunar Research Station (LRS), it becomes imperative to propose a power system that ensures high reliability and efficiency. Drawing upon insights and experiences from previous space activities, the paper presents a systematic solution for the power system of the LRS, contextualized within the complexities of the lunar surface environment. The proposed systematic approach considers constraints related to volume and weight, technological maturity, scalability, and the lunar surface environment. The paper meticulously explores the power system structure, multidimensional power generation technology, power transmission technology, and power management strategy, providing a practical implementation path for constructing the power system for an LRS.
