The Principle and Implementation of Fast Protection Based on Busbar Residual Voltage Maintenance System

This paper analyzes the influence of the busbar residual voltage maintenance system on relay protection and develops a fast protection that can be used in the power system containing the busbar residual voltage maintenance system. The protection method is based on the fault current analysis under the working condition of the busbar residual voltage maintenance system when the power shaking occurs in the enterprise power system. It can take into account the speed, reliability and selectivity of the protection before and after the busbar residual voltage protection action, and effectively improve the power supply reliability of the enterprise power grid. Finally, the protection principle and the implementation method are verified through the RTDS simulation test.
