Research on Performance of Distributed Thermoelectric Cooling System Based on High-Power Device

Rapid Maneuver Space Application System (RMSAS) needs to adapt to different working modes and orbits. Most spacecraft thermal control is realized by primary passive thermal control and auxiliary active thermal control, which is suitable for long-term on-orbit satellites and its platform that has stable operation, but it is incapable of carrying out rapid missions through the space platform due to the lack of flexibility, rapidity and adjustment ability. Therefore, a more flexible thermal control system is needed. This paper proposes a distributed thermoelectric cooling system based on high-power device to meet the temperature control requirements of high-power device for RMSAS. Specifically, the steady-state mathematical models of distributed thermoelectric cooling system are established through the application of energy conservation law, the combined performance of different distribauted thermoelectric cooling systems are analyzed under steady-state comparison, which provides a designing approach for the rapid temperature control of space high-power equipment
