Design Improved Transimpedance CMOS amplifier for optical Receiver front end

A complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) with TIA is one of the essential components for the performance of an optical receiver. It has a significant impact on the performance of optical receivers. Advances in this technology provide noise reduction and increased data transfer rate by converting optical signals into electrical signals. This article examines the design process of a low-noise CMOS amplifier with receive interface TIA technology, to achieve high-quality signals in applications such as optical receiver performance. It is necessary to reduce noise interference and obtain accurate analog signals from the current entering the carrier. I demonstrated the process of this design with up to 30 Gbit/s CMOS for the front end of a low-power optical transceiver. It has been shown that single-ended and differential photo inverters based on float-body transistors can achieve an oscillating voltage of 4 VPP volts per point. At 30 GHz up, the individual gain is measured and this defines the impedance amplifier (TIA). The device parameters derived from the proposed design method closely match the simulated results generated using LTspice.
