Feasibility study using descriptive statistics for the development of a C++ language to block diagram translator

The research work is focused on the development of a bidirectional translation tool between $\mathrm{C}++$ and block diagrams focused on PLC programming, maintaining a semantic equivalence between the two languages, compatibility with different standards, with the objective of integrating a software that meets the current needs in the industry guaranteeing the robustness and recursion that a software demands, the importance of conducting this feasibility study through statistical analysis and surveys is to evaluate the market demand, the most common use of programming languages and the technical, economic and operational feasibility before developing the translation tool. The research employs a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach, the methodology in determining the variables, using techniques and instruments such as data analysis and survey people from various industrial sectors in Ecuador for data collection and analysis with statistical analysis technique. The results obtained by analyzing the data show the feasibility of the bidirectional translation tool with a confidence level of 95 percent, it was also possible to determine data such as programming experience in the two languages, most used equipment, reliable low work experience in the industry, according to age and level of education.
