Adaptive Frequency-Voltage Active Support Control Strategy for Wind Farms

With the continuous development of new power systems, the large-scale integration of wind power into the grid will lead to a gradual decrease in the inertia and disturbance resistance of the power system, and the stability problem of system frequency and voltage becomes increasingly prominent. This paper proposes a coordinated control strategy for wind farms to actively support frequency and voltage adaptively. When fluctuations occur in system frequency and grid-connected voltage, the degree of frequency and voltage drop is calculated to determine the priority sequence of active and reactive support for wind farms. Meanwhile, considering the constraints of active and reactive support limits of wind turbines, an adaptive allocation strategy for active and reactive power of wind farms is provided. Wind turbines achieve precise active support control of frequency and voltage by accurately tracking changes in active and reactive regulation commands. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed strategy effectively suppresses fluctuations in grid-connected voltage and rapidly supports the recovery of grid frequency, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the new power system.
