Signal Processing Techniques for Noise Reduction in Industrial Machinery

This research proposes a complete approach for reducing noise in industrial equipment by combining well-known signal processing methods with cutting-edge algorithms. This new approach to noise cancellation and equipment health monitoring makes use of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Wavelet Denoising (WD), and Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC). The principal sensor readings are subjected to a frequency-domain noise removal method called Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC). To remove time-domain noise, WD employs a multi-resolution examination of the signal. Using deep learning on a dataset consisting of both noisy and clean signals, CNN are used for real-time noise reduction and defect identification. This multi-step process starts with ANC, which decreases the most prominent noise components, then moves on to WD for fine scale denoising, and finally utilizes a convolutional neural network (CNN) as an adaptive filter to eliminate any remaining noise and identify any mechanical malfunctions. The suggested approach provides a comprehensive answer for lowering noise levels, improving machine output, and allowing the early diagnosis of mechanical problems. Because of its adaptability, it may be used with many kinds of equipment in the manufacturing sector.
