Design and Development of IoT Based Collision Alert System Using Blynk and Arduino

One of the primary or major causes of vehicle accidents is the speed, if emergency services had been notified of the tragedy and could have arrived in time, many lives might have been saved. We can reduce the accident but we cannot stop this forever. Accidents can occur any time anywhere. Sometimes, the patients or injured person cannot reach the hospital in time and it can cause death. Now, our proposed model focus on an automatic accident detection and rescue system using IOT by which the parent or related people will be notified on time. The location of the accident will be communicated to the closest ambulance as well. Without providing any further aid, we can make sure the victim gets to the hospital on schedule. The Collision Alert System makes use of the Blynk platform and the Arduino IDE to offer a dependable and user-friendly vehicle safety enhancement. The goal of this research is to reduce the Death rate caused by accident by giving real-time collision alerts. The user can also hit the SOS button, which is integrated with the collision alert system and sends an alert call to the emergency mobile number they have registered, in an emergency. Users can receive SMS and call notifications and get real-time location information on their smartphones using the Blynk mobile app, thanks to the ESP32 microcontroller's interaction with the Blynk cloud platform. The gyroscope, which are interfaced with a microprocessor to detect collision by processing sensor data and Internet connectivity. By arriving at the rescue service in a timely manner, it will help preserve precious human life.
