Radiated emission reduction technique for LED driver Module (LDM) of exterior lightening of automotives

To commercialize any electronic device electromagnetic compatibility of the device is very important. This paper suggests a radiated emission reduction technique by increasing the grounding area between the printed circuit board (PCB)and heat sink of an LED drive module (LDM), which is a power electronic device to drives the exterior lightening of an automotive. Most of the papers in the literature discussed the radiated emission techniques related to power electronics circuit topology specific which are sometimes not applicable to application-specific areas. Therefore, this paper only discusses the radiated emission technique for LDM of exterior lightening of the automotive industry.
