The Digital Twin in Vehicular Network: A Key to the Future of IoV ?

Digital Twin (DT) technology has been seen as a rapid adoption technology in Industry 4.0. Various research ef-forts have focused on this promising technology. There have been several surveys about the DT concept from different perspectives until now. This review focuses on the specific deployments and goals of DT within the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) field. This paper classifies DT applications in IoV into four categories: resource management, path plan, power management and predictive main-tenance. This classification highlights DT's diverse capabilities to address the complex challenges of contemporary IoV networks
