Enhancing Collaborative Learning in CSCL Computer E-Learning: The Impact of a Feedback System on Student Engagement and Knowledge Exchange

This research paper investigates the significance of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) in advancing teaching and learning methods, with a focus on the role of CSCL Computer E-Learning in fostering collaborative learning environments. The paper proposes the development of a feedback system within CSCL chat to address communication challenges and enhance student engagement. The study examines the impacts of increased student attention and focuses on cooperative education when receiving feedback and explores how feedback, coupled with increased attention, influences cooperative education. The research design involved a study conducted at Gulf University, where students majoring in Human Resources participated in chat sessions using the Moodle platform. The results and discussion section analyzes the impacts of the feedback system on student behavior and highlights the indirect implications for teachers and e-learning. Overall, this paper demonstrates the potential of the feedback system to enhance collaborative learning and improve educational outcomes in CSCL Computer E-Learning environments.
