Research on the Timing Control Technology for High-Quality Seeding in Plug Trays

China is the world's largest producer and consumer of vegetables. The demand for fresh vegetables in domestic and international markets is increasing. The demand for leafy vegetables in China is rising year by year. However, due to high labor costs and low production efficiency in vegetable production, vegetable prices are high, which affects the vegetable industry. The key technology of high-quality seeding in trays for multiple varieties is a new highlight of modern agriculture and biotechnology in China. However, the mechanization level of tray seedling machines for facility vegetables in China lags behind, and there is currently no high- quality seeding machine available for different sizes and quantities, which hinders the scale and efficiency development of the facility vegetable tray seedling industry. Based on the trend of tray seeding development, this study focuses on the research of timing control technology for high-quality tray seeding, analyzes the functions of the electronic control system, designs the electrical control schematic and the whole machine control flowchart of a facility vegetable tray seeding machine with XinJie XC-24 as the main controller, designs PLC ladder diagram programs according to the analysis and elaborates on the relevant principles, realizing the timing control technology of the facility vegetable tray seeding machine.
