Design and Research of Anti Web Crawler Framework

This paper provides an anti-crawler framework for web. It proposes two key strategies, active defense and passive defense. Active defense emphasizes identifying and intercepting web crawlers while passive defense focuses on upgrading pages to prevent web crawler programs from obtaining data. The key to actively rejecting lies in identifying crawlers. In this regard, the focus is on the difference between web crawlers and browsers. The two use different User Agents, Cookies, and network signatures. Configuration auxiliary files on the server side can be used to detect this information, identify crawlers, and deny their access. In addition, monitor the access frequency of each user on the server side, and if the access frequency is too high, the service will be automatically denied. Passive anti crawler strategy mainly depend on upgrading web pages. Confusing text in web pages increases the difficulty of web content recognition by web crawlers. At the same time, encode and encrypt important data. Practice has proven that the proposed network anti crawler framework is highly scientific and effective, which can improve the recognition rate of crawler programs and the ability to anti crawler mechanisms.
