Study on Temperature Field of High Pressure Vacuum Interrupter

The problem of temperature rise is one of the bottlenecks restricting the development of vacuum interrupter to high voltage level. In order to study the temperature distribution of high voltage vacuum interrupter under steady state and short-circuit state, the steady state and transient temperature simulation of 126kV cup type axial magnetic field (AMF) contact high voltage vacuum interrupter was carried out. The three-dimensional model of high voltage vacuum interrupter is established, the contact resistance is simulated by stress analysis and micro conductive bridge, and the temperature field is simulated by finite element method based on electrothermal two-way coupling analysis. The temperature distribution of vacuum interrupter under steady state and short-circuit condition is obtained. In the steady state, the temperature of the contact piece is the highest, which is 174.49 ° C, and the temperature gradually decreases from the contact piece to the conductive rod. While in the short circuit condition, the temperature in the middle of the support seat and the thinner part of the contact cup finger is higher, which are 555.20 °C and 532.24 °C respectively. The temperature of the contact piece is 347.71°C, which are 555.20 °C and 532.24 °C respectively. Which does not exceed the copper melting point, and no fusion welding occurs. The study on the temperature distribution of vacuum interrupter has a certain reference significance for the structure optimization of vacuum interrupter.
