Research and Application of Online Testing Technology for Feeder Automation

Feeder automation is an important part of electric power distribution automation. With the large-scale deployment of distribution automation, the current operation and maintenance mode based on regular maintenance has some problems such as weak pertinence and poor timeliness. Based on the online testing technology of feeder automation system, this paper studies FA online test technology based on electric power distribution automation system to realize the status detection of feeder automation. This paper puts forward the system architecture design of online FA test, the function design of cloud FA test software and the process design of online FA test. The parallel testing technology of multi-feeder supported by FA test software in cloud is proposed, including task state machine design and multi-task management. The FA online test system based on this technology has been applied in a prefecture-level city in Guangdong Province, and the effect is good and the technology has been verified.
