An Efficient Residual Energy Based Routing Strategy for Mobile Nodes in MANETs using the CDROA-OSPF Protocol

This Paper proposes CDROA OSPF and ABO-MDR (Minimum Drain Rate) techniques to reduce the amount of power required by units in a clustered network while transmitting. The CDROA OSPF protocol selects the best path based on each node’s energy usage. The CDROA OSPF protocol has been suggested for determining the best route according to each node’s energy consumption and transferring information from origin to destination. The proposed algorithm will be utilized to determine the best energy-efficient and power-saving approach. Eventually, the communication will be sent between the point of origin and the destination while using less energy. The NS-2 simulation is employed to evaluate the suggested protocol, and the results are compared to those of existing routing strategies. As a consequence, the obtained findings beat conventional methods in terms of many network metrics. The proposed algorithm generates effective results. The best path may be altered using ABO MDR. The power of each node varies depending on its location and motion. Given that nodes can change their paths rapidly because of their substantial mobility, some solution guaranteeing efficient pathways is required. As the nodes displacement is the following explanation: In terms of energy usage (0.1J), packet transmission ratio (0.81), throughput (1.2Mbps), routing burden (0.02), and delay (70 ms), the recommended ABO MDR clearly delivers better outcomes, according to the results. The CDROA OSPF algorithm was designed to determine the best path based on the energy consumption of each node. The CDROA OSPF method is suggested for finding the best path based on every node’s energy consumption and conveying information from source to destination. Then, since the node has shifted, the ABO MDR issued to rearrange the best path. Each node’s energy changes depending on its movement and position.
