Smart Biometric Cabinet Locking System

As technology keeps on growing, it concerns and has an impact on security. This project presents a smart fingerprint door lock system to enhance security and convenience. It aims at creating a safe cabinet locking system. The system employs a fingerprint sensor to authenticate users, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access the secured area. Upon successful fingerprint verification, Arduino is activated which turn powers the solenoid lock to unlock the door. If the fingerprint doesn’t match with the stored fingerprint then the person is unauthorized and lock stays latched. This provides a reliable and user-friendly alternative to traditional key-based locks, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and key-related security issues for residential and commercial applications.
