The use of virtual reality world like metaverse can alter the way industries have operated and functioned in the past. Though the Metaverse holds significant potential to drive positive change, both virtually and in the physical world., it has brought forth several legal, environmental, social, and ethical concerns that demand attention. The main objective of this research was to examine the aforementioned issues stemming from the Virtual Reality Revolution. An analysis revealed the presence of numerous legal challenges concerning data protection, cyber security, consumer protection, ownership rights and contractual relationships. In order to facilitate the integration of virtual reality applications across different sectors, an evaluation of current legal frameworks is imperative to determine the need for any adjustments.
