Autonomous Arduino Based Solar Rechargeable Navigating Water Monitoring Boat for Taal Lake

This research introduces an autonomous water monitoring system for Taal Lake, Batangas, utilizing an Arduino-based solar-rechargeable navigating boat equipped with $\mathbf{p H}$, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen sensors. It aims to provide insights post-eruption to aid local decision-making. The study details the prototype development, programming, and comprehensive water quality testing over three months. Statistical analysis will compare boat-generated data with BFAR data. Ethical considerations and recommendations for the community and BFAR are included, with expected contributions to freshwater monitoring and future research.
