Study on High Voltage crossing Strategy of Wind Farm Considering Active and Reactive Coordinated Recovery

In view of the high voltage crossing problem of wind farm caused by the sharp rise of the junction voltage after DC fault, the influence of DC fault on the junction voltage is analyzed first, and the influence of unbalanced active power caused by DC fault on the junction voltage cannot be ignored. Secondly, the applicability of overspeed load shedding in dealing with DC faults is analyzed in detail, and the load shedding distribution strategy considering the rotor speed of the wind turbine is proposed. Then, the adjustable range of active and reactive power of a single doubly-fed fan in a wind farm in Xinjiang and the related restrictions are quantitatively analyzed. On this basis, a high voltage fault crossing control strategy is proposed, which takes into account both active power surplus and reactive power additional control. Compared with the traditional crossing strategy, the new strategy can effectively alleviate the active power surplus of the system during the fault period, distribute the load shedding power of the wind farm reasonably, and improve the high voltage crossing capability of the wind farm. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by MATLAB/Simulink.
