Optimizing Waste Collection Routes with QPSO-LR Algorithm and IoT Sensors

The proliferation of waste generation has highlighted the need for advanced technologies in solid waste management, a key factor in ecosystem pollution. Inadequate collection methods have worsened waste accumulation, especially in urban areas. This paper presents a web application that uses the Lorentz Quantum Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (QPSO-LR) to optimize waste collection routes based on designated collection points. The QPSO-LR algorithm significantly reduces collection distance and time, improving operational efficiency and lowering environmental impact. This application streamlines waste collection, ensuring more timely and effective disposal.
