Approbation of the Software Bundle for Wind Energy Calculations “Wind Energy PRO”

The paper presents the development and validation of the “Wind Energy PRO” software bundle, a comprehensive tool designed for wind energy calculations. This software was created to provide a user-friendly alternative for engineering professionals and educational institutions. “Wind Energy PRO” encompasses multiple modules, including those for wind energy cadastre calculation, vertical interpolation of wind speed, wind turbine energy yield calculation, and wind farm energy yield calculation. These features collectively enable detailed analysis and optimization of wind energy projects. The validation of “Wind Energy PRO” was conducted using operational data from the Adygeyskaya wind farm in Russia. The results of this validation process demonstrated the software's high level of accuracy and effectiveness in modeling wind resources and predicting energy yield. This indicates its strong potential for practical application in real-world wind energy projects. The findings suggest that “Wind Energy PRO” is capable of reliably assessing wind energy potential, optimizing wind farm performance, and thereby serving as a practical tool for stakeholders in the wind energy sector.
