Abstract:
Electromagnetic optimization problems involve the fine-tuning of electromagnetic systems across various domains. Solving electromagnetic optimization problems is crucial for advancements in fields such as telecommunications, radar systems, and electronics. This survey encompassing diverse application like antenna design, microwave circuits and metamaterial configuration. These are characterized by complex mathematical models and require advanced computational methods. By optimizing these systems, we enhance connectivity, data transfer rates, and overall technology performance. This paper presents a systematic review of existing literature, identifying the literature through a systematic search of IEEE Transactions, IEEE Access. A total of 26 studies were identified out of which 4 reputed studies were selected which identify the recent research trends, challenges, and opportunities for optimization in Antenna Design. Moreover, some problems also discussed related to algorithm’s computational and performance.
