A Survey on IoT based Automated Irrigation and Fertilization System using Arduino

This review paper fills a major void in current smart irrigation initiatives by emphasizing moisture content instead of taking soil NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) levels into account. Our project upgrades smart irrigation to include water level detection and NPK, with the goal of revolutionizing smart irrigation. Our improved system optimizes the flow of fertilizer and water, resulting in better plant growth, by precisely monitoring and reacting to NPK and water levels. This creative method drastically cuts down on labor, water, and fertilizer waste while also promoting environmental sustainability. The technical details of our updated smart irrigation system are described in the paper, with a focus on how it can deliver real-time soil condition data. Crucially, all information-including NPK and water levels-is easily sent to farmers’ mobile devices.
