Motorization of Vehicle Positioning

Parking lots that are well-organized can make drivers' lives easier by saving them time and gas. In this work, a fully automated system for car parking and washing is designed. On the FX5U programmable logic controller (PLC), functional ladder logic is based. resistor that changes color with light At the entrance and exit gates, electronic sensors were put in order to detect the cars that are waiting for either entry or exit. The PLC receives the input signals after that and begins counting the number of vehicles entering and exiting the parking area, correspondingly. The created system has the ability to automatically monitor and limit the vehicles in the parking space. The difference between the number of cars arriving and those leaving will determine how many cars are actually in the parking space. PLC will determine whether or not there is room as a car approaches the entry gate. When no more room is available, the PLC will command the entry gate to remain closed and turn on the red light. While leaving the car parking space there is an availability of an automated car washing system which can be utilized by the drivers. Once the car enters the washing sector the sensors at the entrance sense the car and signal for the operation of the washing process. All these activities make the car parking and washing system automatic. Thus, making it easy for people to park and wash the car simultaneously saving a lot of time and reducing manual efforts. The evolution of this approach can be used to solve issues with car parking spaces in urban areas, malls, and other public places.
