Smart Farming Farmguard: Crop Protection System

Farmers grapple with the constant challenge of safeguarding their crops from potential damage caused by animals such as buffaloes, cows, and wildlife when they are away from their fields. To address this issue, a proposed solution leverages Arduino technology, a PIR motion sensor, a buzzer, LED lights, and a GSM module. When the PIR motion sensor detects the presence of animals, the Arduino activates a buzzer and flashing LED lights to deter them. Concurrently, a prompt message is sent to the farmer within 10 seconds of animal detection, ensuring a timely alert. This innovative system not only protects crops from potential harm but also aids farmers in minimizing losses. In an added layer of sophistication, the device incorporates weather sensors to enhance its capabilities. Recognizing that certain animals may exhibit heightened activity under specific weather conditions, the system uses weather data to refine its response, delivering more accurate and effective alerts to assist farmers in crop protection.
