EHSM - Heartbeat Sensors & Machine Learning for Horse Health Monitoring

The novel monitoring system, called Equine Health Sentinel, Utilizing a computer program and heart rate sensors to better monitor horses’ health than the previously used methods. This article examines the use of ECG-based IoT sensors and machine learning technique for data analysis to measure a horse's heart rate, which provides a comprehensive way to monitor the horse's health. The ability to measure a horse's vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature and its ease of use and portability make this technology important. EHSM uses advanced machine learning algorithms to evaluate data collected as part of continuous monitoring of a variety of physical and behavioural indicators in horses. This innovative approach can help to catch the early detection of horse health problems and prevent expensive treatment and minimizing suffering for the horse.
