Remote Monitoring and Control of Electrical Systems for Crisis Response Management Plans

Advanced remote monitoring and control technologies are needed to make electrical systems resilient during emergencies. The goal is to develop a comprehensive framework to improve electrical infrastructures' real-time threat detection, assessment, and response. Key goals are establishing a network to monitor essential grid components and developing control algorithms to manage load distribution and system stability autonomously under unfavorable situations. The main aim is a robust system that can autonomously detect and handle faults to prevent small abnormalities from becoming major failures. The framework promotes a robust energy supply that can endure crises and offer important services by focusing on real-time data collecting, automated control responses, and efficient resource allocation. Electrical system crisis management will benefit from the framework. Crisis event voltage monitoring shows that in a random sample of 5 substations in 5-time intervals, substation 1 has 230-250 volts, substation 2 220-240, substation 3 240-248, substation 4 235-245, and substation 5 250-258. In load balancing control interventions in a sample of 5 sectors, sector 1 had 80 before crisis, 90 during crisis, -70 after intervention, 1–75, 2–78 after crisis, sector 2 had 75, 85 during crisis, -65 after crisis, 1–72, 2–76 after crisis, and sector 3 had 78, 88, and -68.
