Application of Millimeter-wave Radiometer to the Measurement of Electromagnetic Parameters in Solid Materials

In order to study the electromagnetic parameters of dielectric materials in the millimeter-wave band, the complex permittivity of polypropylene material and soda-lime glass was actually measured by using a millimeter-wave radiometer to build a free-space measurement system and perform error control. The measurement results show that the relative error of the real part of the complex permittivity measured by using the millimeter-wave radiometer measurement method does not exceed 8.51%, which has a good measurement accuracy.
