The Use of Power BI in the Analysis and Visualization of the Results of the Admission Campaign at Lviv University

Digital BI (Business Intelligence) platforms are considered to be excellent data analytics tools because they can be used to solve a wide range of tasks. Whether it’s analysis in the field of sales and marketing companies, or the analysis of financial performance, or the presentation of key development indicators using information and analytical systems, BI platforms help to better understand data, identify patterns, and monitor key indicators to make more informed decisions.This work describes the features of using Power BI - complex business intelligence software from Microsoft in order to analyze and visualize the results of the admission campaign of Lviv University in 2021-2023. The article contains a description of the processes of importing data, its cleaning, formatting and creating a model, on the basis of which an interactive report of the results of the introductory campaign is created. The article concludes with a description of the results of the analysis of the regularities of the number of applicants to Lviv University, obtained from Power BI reports.
