A Design for an Intelligent Washing Machine Control System

As living standards improve, so as do the expectations of consumers regarding washing machines. This study proposes a design scheme for a smart washing machine system with intelligent identification and control based on the washing needs and care requirements of fabrics made from different materials. The identification module uses RFID technology to recognize the types of materials being washed, and it controls the RFID chip through a Cortex-M3 processor to obtain the washing information. The system collects laundry data and automatically selects the optimal laundry mode, thereby avoiding any adverse effects on laundry items made of different materials.
