Statistical Research on Bistatic RCS of Floating Platforms Based on Full-Wave Simulation

This article conducts a simulation study on the bistatic and dual-polarized radar cross-section (RCS) of an aerostat at 100MHz. It explores the average value and variation trend of the aerostat's RCS under different bistatic angles and polarization modes, providing suitable research suggestions. Utilizing various mixed distribution models and traditional distribution models, the article fits the fluctuation characteristics of the aerostat's bistatic and dual-polarized RCS, and lists the distribution models that best fit the data at different specific bistatic angles. The results indicate that three mixed distribution models exhibit good and stable fitting characteristics for bistatic data with the same polarization, while the Weibull distribution model demonstrates the best overall fitting performance for cross-polarization bistatic data.
