A Proposed Solution for Tracking Air Baggage Handling System Using IoT Platform

This paper presents a proposed solution for tracking air baggage handling systems via the Blynk Internet of Things (IoT) platform. Baggage handling and security are considered one of the main challenges that experienced by passengers in airports. Airport baggage handling systems must be constantly updated to keep up with the increasing number of travelers utilizing major airports to minimize bottlenecks and peak flow by optimizing the whole process chain. In this paper, we have provided a research study regarding baggage handling system challenges and proposed our solutions. A Blynik mobile application to is used to track the air baggage using a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. Furthermore, we have suggested, created, and executed a luggage conveyor belt with a segregation system that includes four specific zones. This design enables travelers to easily locate and retrieve their belongings through a mobile app.
