Reagent identification via terahertz single-pixel spectroscopic imaging through packaging materials

Using an injection-seeded terahertz (THz) parametric generator with high power and wide tunability, THz single-pixel spectroscopic imaging was performed to obtain spectral images of reagents through packaging materials, which was previously difficult. We also tested image reconstruction with a reduced sampling rate based on compressive sensing and demonstrated that rapid imaging is possible.
