Design of A Wide-band Compact Phase-locked Baseband Source

In this paper, a wide-band compact phase-locked baseband source is designed with an output frequency range of 300MHz~6GHz.Firstly, DC-DC and LDO cascade are used to realize the design of a highly stable voltage regulator source, and an external sampling resistor is used to realize the DC-DC voltage regulation function. Then, the baseband source circuit is designed and tested based on phase-locking technique, and the C8051 control program is developed to realize the wideband output. Finally, after testing, the power is ±1dB flat at OdBm, and the phase noise is better than 95dBc/Hz 1kHz with good stability. At the same time, this paper through the device selection compact design to achieve the baseband source surface-mounted, the circuit area will be reduced by more than 50%; at the same time, the signal pins will be pinned out to improve the compatibility of application scenarios. This design also has the advantages of stable broadband signal output, strong compatibility, small size, and embedded in the device without the need for collocation, convenient intermodulation, very flexible use, and broad application prospects.
