Calculation of Parameters and Modeling Automated Electric Drive System of Skip Hoist Underground Mine

Parameter calculation and modeling of the automated electric drive system of the skip shaft skip hoist system of an underground mine is conducted in this study. Process automation plays a huge role in modern mining operations. The object of the research is the hoisting machine 2Ts-3.5xl.8 installed in the skip shaft of the underground mine for mining of diamond-containing raw materials and serving for transportation of cargoes and rock mass. The electric drive system according to the scheme “controlled rectifier-motor” is selected for calculation of parameters. A hoisting kinematic scheme is constructed. Load and velocity diagrams were calculated and plotted. Calculation of power elements of the automated electric drive system is performed. The schematic structural diagram of the electric drive of the system “controlled rectifier-motor” is shown, on the basis of which the structural two-circuit scheme of the subordinate coordinate control is constructed. The circuit blocks are described and a computer model is constructed in MatLab environment. As a result of modeling we obtained the diagrams of accelerations and control signal of speed set point for the cycle of movement of vessels of skip hoisting unit, as well as evaluated the transients of armature current and angular velocity of the electric drive at the programmable control action of the speed set point signal. The obtained simulation results almost completely coincide with the calculated values. The inaccuracy does not exceed 3%.
