Design Scheme of Miniaturized High-Power Microwave Source Based on X-Band MW-Level Klystron

This paper proposes a design scheme for a miniaturized high-power microwave source based on an X-band MW-level klystron. First, the development history and application fields of high-power microwave technology are introduced, as well as the importance of klystrons in the microwave field. Then, the overall solution design is described in detail, including the composition of the microwave source system and an overview of the overall solution, as well as the design of each module of the system, such as RF preamplifier, high-voltage pulse modulator, boost module and filament power module. The experimental results show the control timing diagram of excitation and pulse high voltage. Finally, the advantages of this technical solution are summarized, including high reliability and high efficiency. This solution provides a reliable and efficient solution for microwave energy applications.
