With the maturity and cost reduction of energy storage technology, it is gradually being applied as an effective solution in power grid construction. Based on the requirements of different scenarios, with the minimum total investment and operation and maintenance costs of energy storage systems, the maximum comprehensive benefits of energy storage, the maximum operational efficiency, the power of energy storage meeting the maximum remaining power or maximum power shortage after new energy grid connection, and the energy storage capacity meeting the maximum charging and discharging electricity demand of the system after considering the minimum state of charge as the objective function, the energy storage charging and discharging power, energy storage capacity, and energy storage charge state as the constraint conditions, and the comprehensive economy as the optimization objective, an energy storage capacity configuration optimization model is established. It plays an important role in improving the sales revenue of new energy enterprises, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting the achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals.
