Development of Automatic Assembly System for Crawler Crane Based on Unity3D

Due to the large number of parts of traditional crawler cranes and the complexity of assembly, an automatic assembly system has been developed based on unity3D and crawler crane related parameters. The crawler crane is modeled through 3D software and the assembly hierarchy method is used. Perform rapid assembly to improve the efficiency and safety of parts assembly. The triangular differential patch algorithm is used to detect possible collisions and overlaps during the parts assembly process, thereby improving the safety and accuracy of assembly. Finally, the virtual rapid assembly simulation of the crawler crane was carried out through the unity3D platform, and the simulation verified the effectiveness of the assembly hierarchy and the triangular differential patch algorithm.
