Smart Broiler Chicken Weighing System Utilizing the STM32 Microcontroller

The smart broiler chicken weighing system, based on the STM32 microcontroller, aims to eliminate inefficiencies, errors, and high labor costs linked to traditional weighing processes. Centered around the STM32F103ZET6 main controller, the system is divided into hardware and software components. The hardware design incorporates RFID for identity recognition, HX711 for weight acquisition, ATKESP8266 WiFi module for cloud and mobile app connectivity, and TFTLCD display module for real-time weight display. Software development encompasses integrating with cloud platforms, implementing mobile apps, and designing data calibration filtering algorithms. Internal communication uses UART for module communication and SPI for RFID and HX711 weight modules, employing a median averaging filtering algorithm to enhance data accuracy and stability. Experimental results demonstrate the system’s ability to collect, process, and transmit broiler chicken weight data in real-time accurately, providing efficient and intelligent monitoring and management tools for broiler farming.
