Investigating the Impact of Evolving Work Culture on Employee Productivity in the Post-Pandemic Period

This study investigates the impact of changing work culture on post-pandemic employee productivity through a case study of Greater Jakarta. Utilizing multiple regression analysis, the research examines how COVID-19-related changes in workplace culture, such as increased emphasis on health, safety, and flexibility, affect productivity. A survey of employees regarding workplace changes revealed preferences for office work, hybrid systems, and remote work. Key challenges identified include health concerns, fast-paced environments, meeting targets amid economic uncertainty, and adapting to new collaboration methods. The primary data, collected from 395 information technology workers in Chennai using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire, was analyzed to determine the relationship between work culture and employee productivity. The study underscores the importance of fostering a positive work culture to enhance productivity. It highlights the necessity for organizations to prioritize employee health and well-being, embrace digital transformations, and adapt workforce planning to evolve market demands. The findings suggest that a proactive approach to innovation, well-being, and strategic alignment can help organizations navigate the post-pandemic landscape and ensure long-term success.
