The Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Addressing Environmental Issues

The application of artificial intelligence in addressing environmental issues is an innovative and solution-oriented approach with great potential to reduce environmental pollution that can disrupt human health, economic stability, and even threaten life. This article employs a literature review method. Therefore, efforts to find solutions to these issues involve the use of various strategies, approaches, tools, and innovative technologies, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI). Google Scholar, Research Gate, and Science Direct are the main sources of references for this article. The results of this research show that AI can monitor environmental changes in real-time, predict the impacts of climate change, optimize agricultural production, and as well as enhancing smart waste management, enhancing transportation systems and reducing carbon emissions to positively impact the environment.
