Pressurized Slotted Waveguide Antenna for High Power Microwave Applications

This paper presents a novel pressurized high-power slotted waveguide antenna (HPSWA) for directed energy applications. The proposed antenna is designed for 3 GHz and fabricated to ensure the handling of 2 bars of Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) pressure. The proposed HPSWA is tested, and its performance is closely monitored to ensure that it meets the desired specifications. The results demonstrate that the antenna achieves high gain and is suitable for various applications such as satellite communication, radar systems, and wireless communication networks. Overall, the HPSWA offers a promising solution for efficiently radiating high amounts of directed microwave energy at 3 GHz.
