Design and Implementation of a Cleaning Robot for Solar Panels

Solar power systems have an important role in converting energy from solar radiation into electrical energy to serve human life. However, its capacity depends on the amount of sunlight shining in, so ensuring cleanliness on the face is quite important. Therefore, this paper proposes a robot which cleans solar panel, the surface of the panel is cleaned by wiping out the dust with cylindrical brush and spraying the liquid. The proposed robot is operated remotely via Wi-Fi, offering a reduction in human labor while enabling remote monitoring capabilities. In this project, we will design a robot model that is fine-tuned to meet real-life requirements. In addition, we conducted experiments on the cleaning functions and energy conversion benefits that robots bring. The research promises to provide an automatic and effective solution for maintaining performance for solar energy systems in the future.
