Enhancing Patient Privacy in Wireless Body Area Networks Using Block Chain and AI-Powered Encryption

In Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs), flaws in centralized data handling challenge patient privacy. The essay introduces a novel way to improve WBAN privacy by combining blockchain technology with AI-powered encryption. The proposed system uses blockchain technology to decentralize data management while ensuring security and transparency. AI-powered encryption improves privacy by altering encryption settings based on contextual patient information. Preprocessing data, establishing a blockchain network with smart contracts, and incorporating AI encryption are critical responsibilities. The results demonstrate significant improvements over existing solutions in terms of data integrity, scalability, and encryption efficiency. The proposed system performs excellently, with a data integrity score of 9.8, an encryption speed of 100 Mbps, and resource usage of 60%. Scalability scores 9.2, and processing overhead is reduced to 5 ms. 91.7% of decryptions are successful, although challenges with decryption rates persist. The technique enhances patient privacy and data security in WBAN settings through faster encryption, better resource use, and scalability.
